MSI introduces the latest version of its Cubi NUC AI with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors on board for intensive AI tasks.
At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, MSI is showcasing a new version of its Cubi NUC AI mini-computers. The Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG is a 0.51-liter mini-PC aimed at AI workloads in a business environment. The system runs on the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3, or Panther Lake, and offers features such as Thunderbolt 4, dual 2.5G Ethernet, and support for four displays.
Intel Core Ultra Series 3
The latest Cubi has one major improvement compared to its predecessor, which we already reviewed. The big difference is that the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor, which was announced earlier this week during CES 2026. The latest MSI laptops Prestige and Modern also feature processors from this series. The chips, built on an Intel 18A process, promise to be more efficient.
Connectivity and security
When we look at other specifications of the Cubi NUC AI+ 3MG, we notice many similarities with the previous version. Both mini-computers support up to four displays via two Thunderbolt 4 ports. This makes them suitable for multitasking, digital signage, and visualization workflows. For networking, both systems are equipped with two 2.5G Ethernet ports.
