Barco launches new ClickShare Hub bundles certified for Microsoft Teams. The bundles were developed with Sennheiser and target organizations looking to equip meeting rooms with a fixed Teams setup, but with wireless sharing as part of the workflow.

The certified configurations link ClickShare Hub Core to Sennheiser TeamConnect Bar S for small meeting rooms. For medium-sized rooms, Barco combines ClickShare Hub Pro with TeamConnect Bar M. Barco says the bundles are built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), an Android-based platform from Microsoft.

Teams Rooms

According to Barco, the Teams certification helps customers roll out meeting rooms more consistently within the Microsoft ecosystem. The company also points to the role of MDEP for management and security policies. At the same time, the bundles continue to aim for fast content sharing in the room, including via the latest generation ClickShare Button, designed to simplify presentations and screen sharing for employees and visitors.

Sennheiser provides the audio and video bar intended for meeting rooms in the packages, while Barco adds the wireless conferencing and presentation layer.

Expansion Beyond BYOD

Barco frames the launch in a broader shift: from solutions that mainly revolve around bring-your-own-device to more integrated room systems for hybrid collaboration.

Jan van Houtte, Executive Vice President Meeting Experiences at Barco, calls the Teams certification a strategic milestone for the company. “It strengthens ClickShare’s role in enabling seamless and inclusive collaboration experiences, allowing users to trust that their meetings will run smoothly, securely, and without complexity.”

Microsoft also refers to the expansion of the Teams ecosystem with room systems certified by partners. The bundles should give organizations an extra option to standardize Teams Rooms spaces, with attention to deployment at scale and management in an IT context.
