The Microsoft Store is getting a new look. The changes bring the design closer to the looks of Windows 11.
Windows is saying goodbye to square corners and is now praising circles in its own app store. This brings the app store more in line with the design of Windows 11, where rounded corners are the norm. Furthermore, the release date of the latest update will now be listed with the app.

The changes were made to the web version of the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and Windows 11, unobtrusively, with no announcement. However, the change was spotted by FireCubeStudios, the Twitter page closely monitors changes to Windows versions.
From the new web version, Windows apps are still easy to install. A few new apps can also be found there: Mozilla Firefox, Discord and the Epic Games Store.

In addition to its own app store, Windows 11 should also make it possible to access the Amazon App Store. So far this is only possible for American users; when the app store will be accessible to European users is not clear.
However, Microsoft did make public the support page for the app store last week. It lists the minimum system requirements to run the Amazon Web Store, and they are not minus.
