Digi introduces a new mobile plan with 60 GB of data and unlimited calling for nine euros per month. According to Digi, this offer is made possible by ongoing investments in its own telecom infrastructure.

Belgian telecom operator Digi is launching a new mobile plan with 60 GB of data and unlimited calling for nine euros. With this plan, the company is targeting consumers who want more data and flexibility without unexpected costs on their bills. The launch follows a period of intensive network expansion and innovation within the company. Customers can sign up for the new plan starting now via the Digi website.

Recently, Proximus also increased its data volume without a price hike. Digi is trying to reach customers in various ways. For instance, the telecom company recently announced a partnership with Bpost, allowing customers to purchase phone subscriptions at various post offices.

Expansion of mobile offering

With this expansion, Digi offers a plan that aligns with the changing use of mobile data. More and more consumers are using their smartphones for streaming, video calls, and working on the go. The need for large data bundles is growing, leading operators to regularly adjust their offerings.

The new plan consists of 60 gigabytes of mobile data and unlimited calling for nine euros per month. According to Jeroen Degadt, General Manager at Digi, this price is possible thanks to investments in their own infrastructure. Last year, the company generated five million euros in revenue, with 21.8 million in costs primarily related to investments in its own infrastructure and network expansion.
