Dell Introduces its First Earbuds with AI-powered Noise Cancellation

Dell Pro Plus earbuds

Dell debuts its first wireless earbuds, the Dell Pro Plus, designed for hybrid work environments.

Dell Technologies launches its first-ever wireless earbuds, the Pro Plus Earbuds. The earbuds feature AI-powered noise cancellation, a microphone that minimizes background noise, and centralized management for IT teams. They also have Microsoft Teams and Zoom certification. The Dell Pro Plus Earbuds are available in four sizes and cost 242 euros including VAT.

Microsoft Teams Certification

The Dell Pro Plus Earbuds are the first earbuds to achieve Microsoft Teams Open Office certification. This means they must guarantee good audio quality even in busy office environments. The earbuds are also certified for Zoom.

IT administrators can easily manage the earbuds through a central dashboard. They can perform firmware updates, adjust settings, and monitor usage. The earbuds integrate with Dell laptops, docks, and software.

AI Microphone

The microphone uses an AI model trained on a database of over 500 million sound samples. This allows the system to distinguish voices from background noise. The noise cancellation works in both directions: during talking and listening. With Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), disruptive noise is actively filtered out, while a transparency mode ensures the environment remains audible when needed.

The Dell Pro Plus Earbuds have an IP54 rating, meaning they are dust and splash-resistant. The charging case also includes a USB-C audio receiver and supports multi-host pairing. Users can pair up to eight devices via Bluetooth 5.3 and switch between different devices. Functions like volume, calls, and music can be controlled via touch controls.

Dell provides four fit sizes (XS, S, M, L) instead of the usual three. With the Dell Audio Mobile App, users can personalize audio settings such as equalizers and transparency modes.
