Asus Announces New ProArt Monitor with QD-OLED Technology
The new ProArt monitor from Asus uses QD-OLED screen technology, combining the excellent colors and pixel response time of OLED with higher brightness.
Better than OLED?
The Asus ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM is a 31.5-inch, 4K, 10-bit monitor with up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. Additionally, according to Asus, it covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, 100 percent of sRGB, and 97 percent of Adobe RGB with a DeltaE of less than one.
According to Asus, QD-OLED is better for professionals than OLED because it suffers less from burn-in, displays text better, and costs less. This new screen promises to alleviate all those concerns in a monitor that “offers an exceptionally excellent color gamut and contrast alongside UHD resolution brightness and sharpness.”

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this monitor is the color accuracy combined with a high refresh rate of 240 Hz. This is useful because it reduces flickering and makes on-screen movements appear smoother.
In terms of connectivity, the monitor also performs well: an HDMI 2.1 port, two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Hub with both Type A and Type C ports. The Thunderbolt ports support power delivery up to 96 W.
The monitor will be available from April 11 for 1,799 euros including VAT.
