Soon you’ll be able to schedule messages in Microsoft Teams channels, and no one will mispronounce your name thanks to the new Outlook name card recording feature.

Microsoft is working on some new features for Microsoft Teams and Outlook that will be rolled out starting in January 2025, according to Microsoft’s roadmap. Users will be able to schedule messages in Teams channels from then on, so you can account for colleagues’ work hours. In Outlook, Microsoft is working on a feature to record your profile cards, saving your colleagues from annoying situations where they mispronounce your name.

Scheduling messages has been possible in Microsoft Teams for some time, but starting January 2025, users will be able to do the same in Teams channels. This will allow you to take into account your colleagues’ working hours and automatically send messages at the most convenient time.
