Commvault has expanded its HyperScale portfolio with two new solutions: HyperScale Edge and HyperScale Flex. These products are designed to help companies strengthen their cyber resilience, especially in light of the growing threat of cyberattacks, particularly on edge devices and remote locations. Commvault HyperScale Edge is generally available from today through a subscription model, while HyperScale Flex is only available for early adopter customers.
HyperScale Edge
HyperScale Edge targets small to medium-sized businesses and remote locations, such as stores and distribution centers. This solution provides local data protection and recovery capabilities, essential for businesses with limited IT resources. Customers can choose from approved hardware from vendors like Dell, HPE, and Lenovo, making the solution easy to integrate into existing infrastructures.
HyperScale Flex
For companies working with large, data-intensive workloads and AI applications, Commvault offers HyperScale Flex. According to the company, this solution provides high-performance backup and recovery, with support for external flash storage from partners such as Pure Storage and VAST Data. HyperScale Flex is specifically designed to support the enormous storage and performance requirements of modern applications and AI/ML workloads.
