The virtual event is likely to bring the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S22 culminating in the Galaxy S22 Ultra to replace the Note series.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is coming, that much is clear. The first leaks appeared months ago and in recent weeks the cadence increased sensitively. Just last week, Samsung posted an official message surrounding the new Galaxy S series with numerous references to the Note series and the Ultra variant of the new Galaxy S22 devices.
We had to wait a long time for it, but Samsung has finally sent out the official announcement for its next “Unpacked” event. The livestream will take place on Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. our time.
It remains to be seen if Samsung has any other surprises in store. The invitation talks about “The Epic Standard,” which presumably refers to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra as the top device. Perhaps we will also see a glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, the new tablet rumored to come out this year?
