The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro gets two screen sizes with one variant each with a 360-degree hinge. The Samsung Galaxy Business, as the name suggests, focuses on the business market with Intel vPro chips.
We had to wait a long time for it, but now you can buy Samsung laptops in Europe, and therefore also in Belgium and the Netherlands. Under the same Galaxy banner as its tablets and smartphones, you can admire five laptop models in stores starting in April.
Samsung is splitting the new models into two series: Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Business. The latter targets the business market with Intel vPro chips and Windows Hello facial recognition for more MFA options.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro
You can configure the Pro series with a 13.3-inch screen or a larger 15.6-inch screen. They both have the latest 12th-generation Intel chips on board with integrated Iris Xe graphics card. Those who want the maximum can also choose a chip with an integrated Intel Arc graphics card for the larger model.
Both models you can configure up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage. The webcam has Full HD resolution and a wide-angle lens. The power button on the laptop doubles as a fingerprint sensor.
Interestingly, both screen sizes have AMOLED displays as standard. This is a Full HD panel with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio.
The larger 15.6-inch variant can give you 5G connectivity and has a full numeric keypad. It is also the only one with an HDMI connector. Otherwise, both devices have 2x USB-C (1x Thunderbolt 4), 1x USB-A, microSD slot and headphone jack.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360
Those who would like a touch screen and a 360-degree hinge can turn to the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360. That also has an AMOLED screen, but enjoys higher brightness (500 nits) and is consequently HDR compatible. According to Samsung, the panel achieves a color range of 120 percent within DCI-P3. Both the 15.6-inch model and the 13.3-inch variant again have Full HD resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio.
Inside are the latest 12th generation Intel chips, this time without Intel Arc option or 5G module. Again, you can choose up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD.
Samsung supplies a stylus in the box as standard to draw precisely on the touch screen.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Business
Those considering Samsung laptops within a business environment should go with the Business variant. It is the only one within the lineup with Intel vPro chips (also 12th generation) and without an AMOLED screen. In return, you get a matte 14-inch Full HD screen.
For more graphically intensive tasks, you can optionally configure the laptop with an Nvidia GeForce MX570 A graphics card. 4G connectivity is an option and configurations start from 8 GB RAM (up to 64 GB RAM) and 256 GB SSD (up to 1 TB).
For optimal video meetings, Samsung provides a Full HD webcam with wide-angle lens and auto-framing. The dual microphone helps focus on voice and suppress background noise.
Present connections: 1x USB-C (Thunderbolt 4), 2x USB-A, 1x HDMI, RJ45 (Ethernet), MicroSD slot, headphone jack.
