Motorola launches Edge 60 Fusion with built-in AI and smart image processing

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is the brand’s first device with fully integrated Moto AI functions. The device combines a quad-curve edge display with a new camera system and extra robust protection.

Motorola launches the Edge 60 Fusion with integrated Moto AI and smart image processing. The Fusion is expected to be the first in a series of Edge 60, just as the previous Edge 50 series included five different models. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is available in blue, pink, and teal colors, for a price of 329.99 euros including VAT. Only the teal color has a striking finish with a canvas effect.

Moto AI

With the Edge 60 Fusion, Motorola launches a new smartphone that integrates Moto AI as standard. The AI functions include Pay Attention, a tool that makes audio recordings, takes notes, and summarizes. With Remember This, users can save visual information on the screen. Additionally, there’s Magic Canvas, a feature that generates images based on text input.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.67-inch quad-curve edge pOLED display with Super HD resolution (1220p) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen has been validated by Pantone for color and skin tone accuracy. Thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the device should be twice as resistant to falls and scratches compared to previously used glass types. The housing meets military durability standards (MIL-STD 810H) and is IP68 and IP69 certified for water and dust resistance.

Smart Image Processing

On the back is a 50 MP main camera with Sony LYTIA 700C sensor and optical image stabilization. This sensor improves performance in low light conditions. Additionally, there’s an ultra-wide-angle lens with macro function. For selfies, the smartphone features a 32 MP camera with Quad Pixel technology. The camera is supported by a Photo Enhancement Engine and other AI tools such as Adaptive Stabilisation and Action Shot, which automatically adjust settings for optimal image quality.

The Edge 60 Fusion runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, with up to 8 GB RAM (expandable via RAM Boost) and 256 GB storage. The battery has a capacity of 5200 mAh and supports 68W fast charging. Furthermore, the device includes Dolby Atmos support, stereo speakers, and Hi-Res audio.

The smartphone comes with Android 15 and offers extra security via Moto Secure and ThinkShield. Users can personalize their device through Hello UX and easily connect with other devices via Smart Connect.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will be available in Belgium from mid-April for 329.99 euros. Those who purchase the device between April 2 and May 11 will temporarily receive a free set of moto buds.
