Microsoft introduces compact mode for Individual Teams chat calls

Microsoft is improving the user experience of the Teams desktop application. Indeed, a new compact mode is being introduced, making more chat messages readable at a glance.

Microsoft is introducing a compact mode on the Teams desktop application. The new mode will allow users to see 50 percent more messages on their screen without scrolling. The setting will only apply to individual chats.

Rapid deployment

Microsoft is rolling out the new mode starting in mid-February. So it’s only a few weeks away before the feature may appear on your end. In the application, you can easily enable the compact mode once it is rolled out to your desktop application.

To do so, click on the three dots next to your profile picture, at the top right. Select there Settings and stay in the General. There, under Theme a new block where, in addition to the default setting, Comfortable, you will also be able to choose Compact.
