Getac B360X and B360X Pro get 14-inch display and Intel Core Ultra Series 3

The Getac B360X and B360X Pro are new fully rugged laptops for fieldwork. They get a larger display and processors from Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3.

Getac is expanding its B360 range with the B360X and the B360X Pro. The company targets defence, emergency services, utilities and manufacturing, where staff often work without a reliable network connection. Compared with the B360 G3 and the B360 Pro G3, which Getac launched in April 2025, the display grows from 13.3 to 14 inches. The resolution goes from Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) to WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200). Brightness stays at 1,400 nits. The capacitive touchscreen works with gloves and in the rain.

Getac B360X with Core Ultra X7

The Getac B360X and B360X Pro run on an Intel Core Ultra 5, Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra X7 from Series 3. The X7 is only available in the standard B360X. According to Getac, models with that chip deliver total compute power of up to 180 TOPS. The B360 G3 had Core Ultra Series 2 chips up to the Core Ultra 7 265H, with an NPU of 13 TOPS.

Getac wants users to run AI applications locally. As examples, the company cites a mobile command post in a disaster area, with software for dispatching, GIS and vehicle location, and military training and simulation platforms at sites without a network. “The real value of artificial intelligence is not realised in climate-controlled server rooms, but at the very edge of the network,” says James Hwang, CEO of Getac Technology Corporation.

RTX PRO 500 in the Pro

In the B360X Pro, you can have a discrete Nvidia RTX PRO 500 graphics card installed, based on the Blackwell architecture. The B360X Pro comes with two high-capacity batteries as standard and can get an expansion bay for a third battery or a DVD drive. Both models have two hot-swappable batteries, which you replace during use without switching off the laptop.

Connectivity and security

Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 are standard. Optional extras are a separate GPS module with L1/L5 support, 4G LTE and 5G Sub-6 with Standalone (SA). Users can choose from several I/O configurations, with a maximum of two Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Standard features include a Windows Hello camera with a 5-megapixel front camera, TPM 2.0, a smart card reader, a user-replaceable PCIe NVMe SSD and Getac Disk Wipe. A second SSD, an HF RFID reader and a fingerprint reader are optional. With two 2 TB SSDs, storage reaches a maximum of 4 TB.

The laptops comply with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G, have an IP66 rating and withstand a 1.8-metre drop during operation. Salt fog certification is optional. The B360X and B360X Pro will be available from November 2026. Getac has not yet announced prices.
