Photoshop launches AI feature that seamlessly blends objects into photos

Photoshop Harmonize

Photoshop makes adding an object or person to a photo a breeze.

Adobe launches a new generative AI feature for Photoshop that allows users to easily edit people or objects in a photo. With just one click, the object or person you add to the photo is blended with the background for a realistic result. The generative AI feature takes into account lighting, color, and shadow. This new feature builds on the Project Perfect Blend demonstrated in 2024. The feature is already available in the beta version of Photoshop.

Harmonize

What once required a lot of experience or Photoshop skills can now be done with a single click. When you want to edit an object or person into another photo, you needed a lot of knowledge to make it as realistic as possible. Photoshop solves this with a new generative AI feature “Harmonize”. You cut out the object or person you want to add to the photo and then click “Harmonize”.

The AI does its work and you get a realistic photo as a result. The feature considers the color, lighting, shadow, and visual tone of the added element to make it as natural as possible.
