Palo Alto Networks introduces three new solutions for integrated AI security during its ‘Ignite: What’s Next Summit’.
Palo Alto Networks expands its cybersecurity portfolio with three new solutions: Prisma AIRS 2.0, Cortex AgentiX and Cortex Cloud 2.0. These solutions are designed to protect organizations in a rapidly growing agentic world. They strengthen organizations’ ability to secure the complete lifecycle of AI applications, the autonomous workforce and the expanding cloud attack surface.
Prisma AIRS 2.0
The first new solution is Prisma AIRS 2.0, which focuses on improved AI security. According to the company, 78 percent of organizations use AI, but only six percent have the necessary security measures in place.

Palo Alto Acquires Protect AI and Sets its Sights on SentinelOne
The platform provides protection across the entire AI lifecycle. It secures interactions between models, agents, data and users, both during development and in production. This update consists of three security modules. AI Agent Security detects and secures AI agents, AI Red Teaming performs continuous attacks to identify vulnerabilities and AI Model Security analyzes the architecture of AI models.
Cortex AgentiX
With Cortex AgentiX, organizations can deploy autonomous AI agents to automate security processes. These agents are trained on 1.2 billion real-world cases and can independently analyze threats, make decisions and execute actions within predefined policy frameworks.

Palo Alto Networks Introduces Prisma SASE 4.0 with Browser Security
AgentiX supports both pre-built agents and custom no-code agents, and provides extensive control through role-based access rights and audit logs. The platform integrates with more than 1,000 tools and is designed to increase security team efficiency and significantly reduce incident response time.
Cortex Cloud 2.0
Finally, Palo Alto is upgrading its cloud security platform. Cortex Cloud 2.0 is the latest version that combines Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) and Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) in one solution. The update introduces autonomous AI agents via Cortex AgentiX, a redesigned Cloud Command Center for centralized risk management, and an optimized CDR agent that consumes up to 50 percent less processing power.
Additionally, the solution includes an enhanced ASPM module that allows developers to identify vulnerabilities already in the code phase. Cortex Cloud 2.0 is designed to simplify multicloud environment security, address risks faster and implement automation across the entire cloud infrastructure.
With these new developments, Palo Alto Networks aims to offer a comprehensive package that combines model development, management and cloud protection.
