Salesforce has published the AI Fluency Playbook, a practical guide for companies that want to prepare employees for collaboration with AI agents. According to Salesforce, organizations are evolving towards an “agentic enterprise,” in which agents perform tasks and support employees in processes such as sales, service, and internal knowledge sharing. The guide is for companies that want to prepare their employees to work confidently with AI.

Salesforce states that employees who use AI daily experience benefits in productivity and work experience. According to the company’s figures, the use of AI leads to 64 percent higher productivity, 58 percent better focus, and 81 percent more job satisfaction. Furthermore, other research shows that Belgian employees save 108 minutes per working day thanks to AI.

Three Pillars

In the guide, Salesforce describes three ways to develop AI skills. AI Engagement should improve trust and sentiment around AI. AI Activation revolves around consistent application in daily tasks. AI Expertise focuses on skills in people, agents, and the organization, to make human-agent collaboration work at scale.
