OpenAI launches a new update for its voice mode in ChatGPT, which is now directly integrated into the chatbot. This allows users to easily switch between speaking and writing without changing to a different mode.
Thanks to the integration, you can talk to ChatGPT and see the answers appear simultaneously. Previously, you were directed to a separate screen to talk to ChatGPT. Moreover, you can view previous messages or images while in conversation.
To end the conversation, you still need to click “End” to stop the voice chat. Users who prefer to talk to ChatGPT in a separate mode can return to the original experience via Settings > Voice Mode > Separate Mode.
