Google Wallet rolls out a new feature that sends notifications with the right tickets at the right place
Google Wallet has introduced a new feature that saves Android users a lot of time. Finding flight tickets, loyalty cards, or concert tickets in this digital wallet can sometimes take a while. Google Wallet is now rolling out notifications that display the right card on your home screen based on your location, as noticed by 9to5Google.
Wallet notifications
Google Wallet now shows the right card at the right time, based on your location. For example, when you approach the airport, the app sends a notification with the required ticket. With one tap, you have your ticket open, without endless scrolling through your digital wallet.

Using this feature naturally comes with a privacy trade-off. Google Wallet can continuously track your device’s location, even when you’re not using the app. When opening a ticket, Wallet may ask you to enable the location feature.
Recently, Google made improvements to the autofill feature in Chrome, allowing the browser to use travel and vehicle information from Wallet when booking flights or renting a car.
