Google is expanding its AI notebook NotebookLM Plus to individual users with a Google One AI Premium subscription.
NotebookLM Plus, Google’s paid AI notebook, is now available to individual users with a Google One AI Premium subscription, the company announced in a blog post. NotebookLM initially began as a free tool that allowed users to create their own AI assistant. Later, the company added a paid version, NotebookLM Plus, with more features.
Individual users
Google’s NotebookLM is an AI notebook launched in 2023. It is a free tool that allows users to create their own personalized AI assistant. In fact, the notebook combines language models with its own data.
Last December, Google launched a new paid formula for NotebookLM. This Plus subscription can handle up to 300 resources at a time (compared to 50 for the free version) and includes more options to use the notebook as desired. Now Google announces that NotebookLM Plus is available to individual users with a Google One AI Premium subscription.

“Starting today, we are adding NotebookLM Plus to the Google One AI Premium subscription, a version with higher usage limits and premium features for even more customized research. This is in addition to existing subscription benefits such as Gemini Advanced, Gemini in Gmail, Docs and more, plus 2 TB of storage – more value for the same price,” Google said in a blog post.
