iPhone users can now get started with Google’s Gemini AI assistant in an app.

Google is making the Gemini available to iPhone users through a standalone app. The app offers a personal AI assistant and is free to download in 35 languages worldwide. With this launch, Google offers an instant solution for users who want to use their AI assistant on the go for both simple tasks and more complex projects.

Direct access to AI assistant

The Gemini app allows iPhone users to access Google’s AI Assistant without using the Google app or Web browser. A key feature is Gemini Live, which allows users to have natural conversations with the AI assistant in 12 languages. Google promises support for more languages in the future.

The AI assistant offers several features, such as help in brainstorming ideas, generating creative images and performing daily tasks. Examples include setting reminders, scheduling appointments and drafting emails.

The Gemini app is now available on the App Store. With this move, Google aims to increase the accessibility of the assistant and respond to the growing demand for AI solutions in everyday life.
