Amazon Quick, AWS’s new desktop AI assistant, brings all your apps, tools, and data together in one place. With integrations for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and more, Quick automates tasks, personalizes workflows, and continuously learns based on your work behavior.

AWS is launching a new desktop app, Amazon Quick, designed to combat the fragmentation of work context across different applications and platforms. According to AWS, many professionals spend more time searching for information than performing their core tasks. Quick aims to streamline this process by integrating directly with your local files, calendar, email, and a wide range of business apps.

The AI assistant works proactively in the background, learning from every interaction and building a personal knowledge graph. This allows the system to become smarter and more relevant for both individual users and entire teams.

In October 2025, AWS launched Quick Suite, a collection of AI-driven applications divided into modules (including Quick Sight and Quick Research), enabling organizations to accelerate and automate internal processes.

Contextual intelligence

Amazon Quick integrates deeply into the user’s work context. The AI tool works with platforms such as Slack, Teams, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Jira. The assistant automates browser-based workflows and is compatible with developer tools like Kiro CLI and Claude Code.

The system indexes documents and learns from every session, allowing it to provide personalized suggestions and supply relevant information for meetings or deadlines. For example, Quick automatically surfaces the right files, notes, and messages at the right time, without the user having to explicitly ask for them.

New features and expansions

In addition to the desktop app, AWS is introducing new capabilities such as building intelligent apps, dashboards, and web pages using simple natural language. Users can now also generate documents, presentations, and infographics directly from the chat interface, fully tailored to their needs and context.

Quick is also expanding its integrations to include Google Workspace, Zoom, Airtable, Dropbox, and Microsoft Teams. A new extension for Microsoft 365 brings Quick directly into Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, where the assistant can proactively provide insights and content.

With Amazon Quick, AWS aims to create a more integrated and smart workplace. The assistant succeeds in increasing personal productivity and strengthening team collaboration by combining context, automation, and connectivity. Further expansions and integrations are expected in the coming months.
