Qnap’s new QVR Recording Vault solution allows companies to store and centrally manage long-term surveillance footage without licensing fees.
Qnap announces QVR Record Vault, a new (beta) solution for backing up surveillance footage. The system allows a NAS to be used as a backup server to store recordings from different endpoints, such as QVR Pro and QVR Elite recording servers.

This allows administrators to quickly and easily retrieve, play and manage footage via a desktop or mobile application.

The new offering is completely free of licensing fees. QVR Recording Vault offers companies the flexibility to connect as many endpoint servers as needed at no additional cost. In addition, there are extensive options to customize the retention period of the footage according to one’s needs. The solution and allows administrators to easily configure backup settings and monitor storage status.
The beta program for the QVR Recording Vault is now open for users of QNAP QVR Pro and QVR Elite recording servers. This allows these companies to be the first to test the new features of this backup solution.
