Ubiquiti routers

Ubiquiti is expanding its product line with three new 10 Gigabit UniFi Cloud routers.

Ubiquiti announces three new 10 gigabit UniFi Cloud Gateways, including the Dream Router 7, Cloud Gateway Fiber and UniFi Express 7. Both the Dream Router 7 and Express 7 support Wi-Fi 7. All devices feature 10Gbits/s-WAN. The Cloud Gateway Fiber gets an additional 10Gbit/s-LAN. The Dream Router 7, Cloud Gateway Fiber and UniFi Express 7 come to 318 euros, 322.80 euros and 229.90 euros including VAT, respectively.

Dream Router 7 (UDR7)

The Dream Router 7 is the successor to the Dream Router. This latest router in the series retains its form factor, but offers performance and connectivity improvements, according to the company. The UDR7 is said to be capable of running all UniFi applications at once. It also features an LCM status screen to observe updates at a glance and a 2.5 GbE switch with a PoE port and SFP+ port for WAN or LAN connectivity.

In addition, the Dream Router 7 includes SD card storage for Protect and other UniFi applications. With 6-stream 6GHz WiFi 7 performance and full 10 Gigabit support, the UDR7 is made for small branch offices. The Dream Router 7 comes in at 318 euros including VAT.

Cloud Gateway Fiber (UCG Fiber)

The second new router in line is the Cloud Gateway Fiber. This device is an extension of the UCG Max, adding two SFP+ ports and a 10 GbE Ethernet port to one compact device. The UCG Fiber features a PoE+-compatible 2.5 GbE switch for adding an AP, camera or other UniFi device. In addition, it offers M.2 NVMe storage support for ultra-smooth Protect performance. The Cloud Gateway Fiber is available starting at 322.80 euros including VAT.

UniFi Express 7

Finally, there is the UniFi Express 7 that, like the Cloud Gateway Fiber, comes in a compact package. The Express 7 only supports UniFi Network and does not have integrated storage. However, it does have integrated WiFi 7 support. Furthermore, the router supports the 6GHz band, with theoretical speeds of up to 5.7Gbit/s and MU-MIMO 2×2. In addition, the device has a 10Gbit/s-WAN port, and a single LAN port with 2.5Gbit/s support. The price tag comes to 229.90 euros including VAT.
