Red Hat bundles AI portfolio into new Red Hat AI Enterprise and launches version 3.3

Red Hat introduces Red Hat AI Enterprise: an integrated platform for managing AI models, agents, and applications in hybrid environments. Simultaneously, the company is releasing Red Hat AI 3.3, featuring updates to models, hardware support, monitoring, and security.

Red Hat introduces Red Hat AI Enterprise (not to be confused with Red Hat Enterprise Linux). With this, the company adds a new layer on top of its existing infrastructure and cloud platform. Red Hat AI Enterprise bundles various AI components into a single integrated environment, enabling organizations to move AI projects from pilot to production more easily.

Enterprise-grade platform

Red Hat describes AI Enterprise as an integrated AI platform to build and run cost-efficient models, agents, and applications, regardless of the infrastructure. The platform is designed to ensure that apps remain fast and responsive, and features built-in security.

OpenShift serves as the foundation for scalability and consistency in hybrid cloud environments. Red Hat refers to a metal-to-agent approach. This is a creative term for full stack, referring to the stack that runs from the underlying infrastructure all the way up to AI agents and applications.

Red Hat AI Enterprise bundles existing components such as Red Hat OpenShift AI, Red Hat AI Inference Server, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI. By bringing these together into one platform, Red Hat aims to align AI management more closely with traditional enterprise software.

Red Hat AI 3.3

Alongside the new platform, Red Hat also announced Red Hat AI 3.3. This update includes adjustments across the entire AI portfolio. The company is focusing on broader model support, additional hardware compatibility, and improvements in monitoring and security.

According to Red Hat, version 3.3 should help organizations become less dependent on disconnected tools and disparate foundations. The company notes that these are often factors that keep AI projects stuck in the pilot phase.

With this launch, Red Hat aims to show customers that it offers a comprehensive platform for running AI projects. Red Hat’s advantage over other providers is its integration with OpenShift and broad compatibility. The solution is relevant for enterprises moving toward a hybrid infrastructure that still require a coherent solution.
