Nutanix Cloud Clusters is now available through the European cloud provider OVHcloud. The partnership aims to capitalize on demand for data sovereignty, sustainability, and simplicity in hybrid cloud environments.
Nutanix and OVHcloud are making Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) available on OVHcloud’s European cloud platform. The collaboration targets organizations looking to modernize their hybrid cloud strategy, with a focus on European regulations, sustainability, and control over data.
EU Alternative
After all, OVHcloud is a French player with a global footprint and the only somewhat sizable alternative to the U.S. hyperscalers. NC2 has long been running on the infrastructure of AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
The launch of NC2 on OVHcloud offers a European option for organizations looking to rethink their existing cloud approach, among other things in response to changes within the VMware ecosystem following the Broadcom acquisition. With NC2, customers can bolster disaster recovery, migrate workloads, and streamline their cloud strategy.
Bare Metal
Thanks to the integration with OVHcloud, Nutanix Cloud Clusters runs on bare-metal servers within European data centers. In this way, the two parties hope to support companies that value data sovereignty. Costs remain predictable, it claims, as egress fees are avoided. Nutanix Cloud Clusters on OVHcloud is available immediately in the EMEA region.
