Technology consultancy firm TMC strengthens its position in international engineering with the acquisition of WEB. This strategic move, TMC’s second acquisition in a month, brings together more than 350 engineers and accelerates its ambitious growth strategy.
TMC announces the acquisition of WEB. With a second acquisition in a month, the international group is strengthening its local roots in the Benelux. Emmanuel Mottrie, Belgian CEO of TMC Group, sees WEB as an ideal partner to meet the demand for full engineering trajectories. The focus is on outsourcing complex issues, from concept to industrialization.
Both organizations have much in common. In addition to the three-letter name, both companies originated in Eindhoven and grew internationally from there. WEB is present in the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, and Greece, while TMC is active in 17 countries. The acquisition builds on that shared foundation.
Consultancy and engineering
WEB, with an annual turnover of 35 million euros, brings in-depth experience in statement-of-work projects and industrial engineering. The company specializes in consultancy, mechanical engineering, and software development. With more than 350 employees spread across the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, and Greece, WEB supports organizations throughout the entire product lifecycle.
WEB’s strategy of taking on projects from the Netherlands and supporting them from Southern Europe enables the company to operate cost-effectively and scalably. Clients such as ASML, Siemens, and DAF have chosen this approach. The cultural match and the shared focus on quality and international expansion were crucial factors for the collaboration.
Accelerated acquisition strategy
Since 2025, TMC has significantly accelerated its acquisition strategy. For instance, the acquisition of WEB follows barely a month after that of the Belgian Sioux Technologies. Through acquisitions, TMC continues to increase its global reach and service offering. This step opens doors to larger international clients and new sectors, such as defense.
Sjors Wartenbergh, founder of WEB, emphasizes that the collaboration with TMC provides a gateway to these markets. At the same time, WEB complements TMC’s services.
