TMC has acquired Sioux Belgium, a software entity from Herentals with 33 employees. With this acquisition, TMC is expanding its presence in the Belgian market.
Consultancy firm TMC has acquired Sioux Belgium to strengthen its software activities in our country. Sioux Technologies NV is the Belgian software entity of Sioux Technologies, which is located in Herentals. The company has been supporting Belgian and international clients, including Atlas Copco, Antwerp Space, and Synamedia, with software issues for 25 years.
Wider range of software
Sioux Belgium has 33 specialists who focus on software development for complex technological applications. TMC wants to integrate the team into TMC Belgium over the next twelve months. During this transition, the existing team will remain active and both organizations will work more closely together. TMC states that customers of both parties should be able to benefit from this, including through a wider range of software expertise.
Emmanuel Mottrie, CEO of TMC Group in Belgium, says that the acquisition is in line with the group’s ambitions in the Belgian market. “Dutch-speaking experts within this software specialization are scarce, so the team is a valuable addition for TMC and customers in the region,” says Mottrie.
At the same time, the acquisition creates room for Sioux for “further growth and makes it easier to attract new talent,” says Filip Eykens, managing director of Sioux Belgium.
Series of acquisitions
This is not TMC’s first acquisition. The company has previously completed acquisitions in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, including companies such as Level21 and Adventec Consulting (both in 2025), Guldberg and Personites (2024), Open Pixel Systems (2024), and Mobilee (2023).
