Dutch AI company Nebius will receive a $700 million investment from Nvidia, Accel and others. With this, the company aims to accelerate its ambitious expansion plans.
Nebius, a Dutch AI company, announced in a press release that it has entered into an agreement for $700 million in private placement financing. Nvidia and Accel are among those investors. With this capital, the Dutch AI company aims to fulfill its ambitious expansion plans across Europe and North America.
Expansion plans
The announced funding supports Nebius’ plans to build out its full-stack AI infrastructure – including large-scale GPU clusters, cloud platforms, and developer tools and services – for AI pioneers worldwide.
“We have demonstrated the scale of our ambitions by building out an AI infrastructure on two continents. This strategic funding gives us additional firepower to do it faster and on a larger scale,” said Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebius.

Nebius’ full-stack AI infrastructure leans on deep technical expertise in hardware and software, cloud engineering and machine learning. In the field of AI infrastructure, Nebius has about 400 engineers with decades of experience in building technical infrastructure, as well as an in-house R&D team for large language models.
