HubSpot acquires Cacheflow to expand commercial capabilities

HubSpot announces the acquisition of Cacheflow, a specialist in B2B subscription billing and CPQ solutions. With this move, HubSpot aims to further strengthen its Commerce Hub and accelerate the sales process for businesses.

HubSpot has reached an agreement to acquire Cacheflow, a provider of subscription billing and configure, price and quote (CPQ) management solutions. The acquisition will give HubSpot access to Cacheflow’s platform, making it easier to automate the quote-to-cash process. This will help companies close deals and collect revenue faster. No word yet on the amount of the acquisition.

Strengthening Commerce Hub

The acquisition follows HubSpot’s 2023 Commerce Hub launch, which has since processed more than one billion dollars in gross commerce volume. By adding Cacheflow to its platform, HubSpot aims to expand its commerce capabilities and improve the buying process for customers. Cacheflow provides businesses with automated tools for managing quotes, subscriptions and payments through a user-friendly, code-free platform.

Yamini Rangan, CEO of HubSpot, stressed that the integration of Cacheflow is in line with the growth of Commerce Hub and simplifying the purchasing process. The goal is to further optimize the user experience for payments and customer management.

Cacheflow, co-founded by Sarika Garg, has focused on revamping outdated CPQ and billing processes. The company’s solutions are designed to shorten sales cycles and automate revenue management. Cacheflow will become fully owned by HubSpot after the acquisition and will be incorporated into the Commerce Hub team.
