AXI Software, provider of software and IT solutions, will henceforth go by the name Anchr.
AXI Software’s name change is part of a change in strategy in which the company aims to establish itself as an umbrella organization with a focus on European growth through acquisitions.
Anchr focuses on software and SaaS solutions and aims to acquire several companies annually, while maintaining the acquired organizations’ own brands and identities.
The name Anchr emphasizes AXI Software’s long-standing presence in the IT sector. The company’s new direction is based on the creation of a “House of Companies,” which focuses on entrepreneurship. Within this structure, Anchr offers entrepreneurs the freedom and responsibility to chart their own course, with support from the holding company.
CEO Ron van den Broek: “We need to become an ideal breeding ground for entrepreneurship. By investing more intensively in our products and support, we want to provide the best solutions for today’s challenges.”
Broad offerings and new brand identity
Anchr today offers seven types of solutions, including POS software, financial software and custom solutions. The company has some 350 employees and works for clients such as De Bijenkorf, Vandemoortele, Colruyt Group and Umicore. With the name change, the organization is also launching a new visual identity and website.
With this new name and strategy, Anchr is aiming for a strengthened presence in the European market, while the company is committed to the further development and growth of its current portfolio.
