The deadline for the deal between Atos and the French government has passed. Atos has a new proposal ready.
Several months ago, the French government submitted a proposal to Atos to take over the BDS business. In fact, the French technology company has billions in debt outstanding. A concrete offer of $700 million was submitted. Atos would consider it, but so far no deal has been reached. Now that the deadline for the deal has passed, the French company announces that it still wants to continue negotiations.
