Samsung expands the Galaxy Tab S10 series with Fan Edition models. In the announcement, the manufacturer once again heavily emphasizes references to AI.

The Galaxy Tab S is Samsung’s flagship tablet series. The Galaxy Tab S10 models were released in September last year, and today Samsung adds two more models to the lineup. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE and FE+ are available in stores starting today.

For the Fans

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE is available in two sizes and weights: a 10.9-inch version and a 13.1-inch version. You can take the plus sign behind the 13-inch tablet literally: it’s the largest model that has been released under the FE+ name. Apart from a larger screen with more pixels and a bigger battery (10,090 mAh, 45 W charging), both tablets have the same internal components.

For the Tab S10 FE and FE+, Samsung once again opts for a homemade Exynos processor, the Exynos 1580. The two models are configurable with 8 GB + 128 GB memory or 12 GB + 256 GB if you want a bit more. The manufacturer applies an IP68 rating to the devices for water and dust resistance.

On the back, there’s a 13 MP camera, although you shouldn’t expect miracles in photography from a tablet. More important is the 12 MP wide-angle camera on the front. The resolution is higher than many laptop webcams, which can make the tablet an interesting device for video calling.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE is 5G-enabled, but does not support Wifi 7. While this doesn’t make a difference now, it’s unfortunate for the tablet’s future-proofing. Out of the box, the device comes with Android 15, and Samsung applies the same seven-year update policy for the S10 tablets as for the S25 smartphones.

Mandatory AI

We’re in 2025, and therefore one or more mentions of AI functionality is mandatory. Samsung doesn’t hold back in this regard either. Every new device the manufacturer launches must contain AI in one way or another (even when that’s not the case). The Galaxy Tab S10 offers ‘advanced AI capabilities to increase user productivity,’ according to the manufacturer.

These features are not new or unique to the tablets. Circle to Search, for example, can be found on every new high-end Android device. Samsung also offers an array of AI functions for editing photos, writing texts, or making calculations. A Galaxy AI key on the keyboard directs you to the Galaxy AI suite, similar to the Copilot key on new laptops.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will be available from April 3 in the following three colors: gray, silver, and blue. The S10 FE is available starting at 579 euros, and the S10 FE+ starting at 749 euros, including VAT.
