OneDrive will soon show all Microsoft Teams files in one convenient folder

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft is adding a “Your Teams” section to OneDrive for convenient retrieval of all shared files. The feature is planned for April.

Anyone who uploads anything within Microsoft Teams is familiar with the endless well of files in the OneDrive cloud. Within Teams, you can usually conveniently search for files when you do so occasionally, but searching across multiple channels is often tedious.

Microsoft is finally working on an option to conveniently bundle all your shared files into one folder within OneDrive. The feature is scheduled for April and will be rolled out widely to all users immediately.

OneDrive is not the only component that will work more closely with Microsoft Teams. Earlier this month, the software giant announced better integration of Teams and LinkedIn. In the chat client, there will be a separate tab with LinkedIn information. If everything stays on track, the feature will be rolled out in March. Both the Web version and the desktop version should both expect the feature.

Microsoft Teams, meanwhile, continues to evolve at lightning speed. For example, since the beginning of this year, you can chat between personal and business accounts and the platform finally supports end-to-end encryption. For SMEs, there is now also Microsoft Teams Essentials as a standalone solution. Microsoft shared earlier this year that the platform has 270 million monthly active users, an increase of 20 million compared to the summer of 2021.
