Haptic Feedback
The MX Master 4 is the first mouse in the MX series with haptic feedback. It provides tactile vibrations when scrolling, navigating, and clicking. Users can adjust the intensity of this feedback to their preference. According to Logitech, this is particularly useful for tasks such as video editing, graphic design, or data analysis.
Additionally, Logitech introduces the Actions Ring. This is a software feature that allows users to quickly activate app-specific shortcuts. These functions are available through the Logi Options+ software. The manufacturer claims that users can save up to one-third of their time and reduce repetitive mouse movements by up to 63 percent.
On the technical side, the mouse is equipped with a faster chip and stronger antenna for a more stable connection. Users can quickly pair the mouse with multiple devices via a new USB-C dongle. The sensor works on virtually any surface, including glass, and supports up to 8,000 DPI. The mouse also features quiet buttons and a battery that lasts up to 70 days on a full charge.
Business Variant
For IT environments, there’s the MX Master 4 for Business, with support for central management via Logitech Sync. This allows IT teams to remotely monitor and maintain mice. The mouse is also compatible with Logi Bolt, which according to the manufacturer ensures a stable connection in busy office environments.
The mouse is constructed from recycled materials, including recycled plastic and cobalt. The design is also demountable, making recycling easier. The packaging is made from paper sourced from FSC-certified sources.
The MX Master 4 is now available in multiple color variants, ranging from light to dark gray and black for Windows to white and black for Mac. The recommended retail price is €129.99 incl. VAT. The price is the same for consumers and professionals.
