HP and Google introduce a new 3D communication tool at InfoComm 2025 to make virtual collaboration more realistic.
HP Dimension with Google Beam is a new video communication tool that uses AI and 3D technology to make meetings more lifelike. The solution requires no glasses or headsets and is specifically developed for small meeting rooms. Users experience the other person at life-size with realistic depth and eye contact.
Realistic Experience without Wearables
The solution combines a 65-inch 3D light field display, six cameras, spatial audio, adaptive lighting, and AI. With this, HP aims to reduce the gap between virtual and physical meetings. It would seem as if the other person is really sitting in front of you. Internal studies show that during meetings via HP Dimension with Google Beam, users remember 28 percent more, display up to 39 percent more non-verbal communication, and can focus 14 percent better on their conversation partner.
The tool supports native integration with Zoom Rooms and Google Meet. Additionally, there is compatibility with traditional video platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Webex.
New Audio Hub and Microphones for Hybrid Workplaces
Along with the video technology, HP is also launching the HP Poly Studio A2 Audio Bridge and accompanying table microphones. These are designed to provide clear audio quality in meeting rooms of any size. The microphones can be linked up to a maximum of eight units and work with a central audio hub that supports up to 32 synchronized audio channels.
The systems are designed for easy installation via a single Ethernet cable and work with existing Poly video systems. Thanks to the built-in NoiseBlockAI technology, disruptive noises are automatically filtered out.
HP will start delivering HP Dimension with Google Beam to selected customers by the end of 2025. The recommended retail price is $24,999, excluding the license for Google Beam. The audio components can be ordered from June 2025 and will be delivered in September. The audio hub costs $549, and the table microphones are $329 each.
