Dynabook renews its offering of 15-inch Satellite Pro laptops with processors from the AMD Ryzen range, but opts for chips from the previous generation.
The Satellite Pro C50 lineup is getting an expansion. Dynabook will now offer versions of the 15-inch entry-level laptops with processors from the AMD Ryzen range. The devices will be available with AMD Ryzen 5 and AMD Ryzen 7 chips.
Older processors
Surprisingly, Dynabook chooses the AMD Ryzen 5 5600U and the Ryzen 7 5800U. Those processors, meanwhile, are a generation behind, as AMD only announced Ryzen 6000. Especially the built-in graphics performance of those new chips would be better, although AMD makes the case that Ryzen 6000 performs better than Ryzen 5000 across the board. So Dynabook is not immediately offering a state-of-the-art configuration here.
Laptops from the Satellite Pro C50D-B family are further configurable with up to 32 GB of DDR5 memory and 512 GB of SSD storage. The devices come with a nieut reflective 15.6-inch screen with up to FHD resolution. Those who hate their eyes can also opt for a lower screen resolution.
Dynabook maat further nopg know that the laptops are equipped with USB Type-C, USB Type A, HDMI and a microSD card reader. In addition, the device has an HD webcam and stereo speakers on board. The new devices with old AMD chip will be available from February.
