Asus announces its new flagship 8K monitor, ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, designed for creative professionals.
Asus launches the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, the first 8K HDR Mini-LED monitor specifically designed for professional creatives. This monitor features 4032-zone local dimming, 1200 nits peak brightness and 1000 nits sustained brightness, making it suitable for demanding workflows in the creative industry. The Asus ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX will be available from October 2025
Image Quality and Color Reproduction
The 8K resolution (7680 x 4320) of the PA32KCX delivers a pixel density of 275 ppi, more than double that of a 32-inch 4K display, providing razor-sharp images and detailed visual representation. The Mini-LED panel offers precise backlighting that minimizes visual artifacts and reduces the halo effect. This enables a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a sustained brightness of 1000 nits.
With 95 percent Adobe RGB, 97 percent DCI-P3, and 100 percent sRGB and Rec. 709 color gamuts, the PA32KCX offers color reproduction that exceeds the highest industry standards. The 10-bit IPS panel supports over 1 billion colors and delivers Delta E1 color accuracy, making it the ideal choice for applications such as video editing, photo editing, and 3D design.
To ensure long-term color precision, the monitor is equipped with a motorized colorimeter for automatic calibration, even without additional software. This allows users to calibrate the monitor at any time or outside office hours via the OSD menu.
Dolby Vision
The PA32KCX supports Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10, providing a wide range of HDR display options for various applications, from video editing to streaming and gaming. The Dolby Vision support offers excellent brightness, contrast, and color reproduction, allowing users to utilize the full potential of HDR content.
Connectivity
With Thunderbolt 4 ports, DisplayPort 2.1, and HDMI 2.1, the PA32KCX offers extensive connectivity options for both current and future equipment. The Thunderbolt 4 ports provide up to 96W Power Delivery, enabling device charging, and support daisy-chaining multiple displays without requiring an additional hub or switch.
The Auto KVM functionality allows users to easily switch between two computers or laptops using a single keyboard and mouse. This simplifies multitasking and improves workflow efficiency.
Flexible Design
The PA32KCX is designed with ergonomics in mind, featuring an adjustable stand that enables tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment. The ability to rotate the screen 90° is convenient for working with vertical projects such as posters or documents. Additionally, the monitor can be easily mounted to a wall using VESA mounting to save desk space.
The monitor is also equipped with a shading hood that reduces ambient light reflections, allowing users to work comfortably even in well-lit environments. The Asus ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX will be available from October 2025.
