Monitor manufacturer AOC launches a new monitor line aimed at the professional market. The most notable feature of the P4 monitors is their retractable USB hub.
Display manufacturer AOC introduces two new business monitors with the Professional P4 series. The screens combine a refresh rate of 120 Hz with a retractable USB hub and five-year warranty.
The P4 series currently includes two models: the 23.8-inch 24P4U with Full HD resolution and the 27-inch Q27P4U with QHD resolution. Both models feature an IPS panel, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a response time of up to 4 ms. For smooth image display, there is support for Adaptive Sync.
Pop-out USB Hub
A notable feature is the retractable USB hub that becomes available from the bottom of the monitor. It contains one USB-A and one USB-C port with 15W Power Delivery on the front. Two additional USB-A ports are provided on the back.
The hub makes it easier to connect peripherals or charge mobile devices without adding extra clutter to the desk. USB-C is more universal than USB-A today, so the distribution of ports is noteworthy.
Additionally, both monitors are equipped with blue light reduction, which is mostly marketing, anti-flicker technology, and an ergonomic stand. This allows the screen to be adjusted in height, tilted, rotated, and used in portrait mode. Thanks to VESA compatibility, other configurations are also possible.
Sustainability and Connectivity
AOC says it is targeting organizations that value sustainability and longevity with the P4 series. The screens carry sustainability and energy efficiency labels. The manufacturer offers a standard warranty period of five years.

The monitors support multiple connection options. The 24P4U is compatible with HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA. Both models are intended for professional use, where performance, ergonomics, and connectivity are important.
The AOC 24P4U is available now at a recommended price of 189 euros, including VAT. The Q27P4U will follow in mid-September with a target price of 249 euros, also including VAT.
