AOC introduces the 16T20E2. This is a portable 15.6-inch monitor with an affordable price tag, aimed at professionals who are often on the move and want some extra screen real estate.
AOC is expanding its range with the 16T20E2. This is a compact portable monitor. The device combines a slim design with multiple connectivity options for use with various devices.
The AOC 16T20E2 features a 15.6-inch (39.6 cm) IPS panel with Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The screen has a refresh rate of 60 Hz. AOC specifies viewing angles of 178°/178° and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. The maximum brightness of 250 cd/m² is somewhat limited: it won’t be sufficient in front of a window on a sunny day.
Connectivity, design, and included accessories
For connectivity, AOC provides USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, allowing video and power to run through a single cable. Additionally, there is Mini HDMI and a headphone jack for audio output.
The housing is 9 mm thick and the device weighs approximately 1 kg without the cover. AOC positions the 16T20E2 as a portable second screen with Full HD IPS, USB-C, and Mini HDMI, featuring a cover that also doubles as a stand.
The box includes a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable, each 1.5 meters long, plus the magnetic cover.
The most compact thing about the AOC 16T20E2 might just be the price. The device will be available from March 2026 with a suggested retail price of 99 euros.
