WhatsApp is rolling out its long-awaited voice message transcription feature to all users, but not in Dutch for now.
Back in 2022, WhatsApp announced that it was working on a tool to transcribe audio files into text. The first signs of a test version appeared this summer, but now the feature is actually being rolled out to all users. The feature will allow users to convert voice messages into text. This can be useful in situations where there is a lot of background noise.
Currently, the feature is only available in the following languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian. According to the company, that list will be beefed up in a few months.
