Mirantis introduces Lens Prism, a built-in AI assistant, and also launches One-Click AWS integration to simplify Kubernetes cluster management.
Mirantis launches Lens Prism. This is a built-in AI assistant that helps manage Kubernetes clusters. The company also introduces a One-Click AWS integration to connect EKS clusters more easily.
Lens Prism
Lens Prism is an AI assistant fully integrated into the Lens development environment. Users can ask questions in natural language about the status of their Kubernetes clusters. The AI provides answers based on live data, such as kubectl output, metrics, and logs.
Lens Prism operates within the user’s existing access rights and uses the existing kubeconfig file. This keeps cluster control within defined roles and permissions.
The AI assistant is designed to reduce the complexity of Kubernetes management. According to Mirantis, developers can identify and solve problems faster without deep Kubernetes knowledge. This should increase productivity and simplify daily management tasks.
AWS Integration
In addition to Lens Prism, Mirantis offers a One-Click AWS integration. This allows users to automatically discover and connect EKS clusters across different AWS accounts and regions without manual login or command line configuration. The integration aims to accelerate cloud infrastructure management and further position Lens as a central platform for Kubernetes management.
Lens has over a million users worldwide. The desktop application supports Linux, macOS, and Windows and works with any certified Kubernetes distribution. Lens Prism and One-Click AWS integration are available in all Lens Premium subscriptions at no additional cost.
