Google is now introducing Gemini Spark to macOS, featuring deeper integrations across various apps and enhanced real-time monitoring.
In May, Google launched Gemini Spark, a personal AI agent capable of performing tasks independently and running on Gemini 3.5 Flash. Now, Google is bringing Gemini Spark to macOS for an improved desktop experience. Additionally, there is the option to integrate apps such as Google Keep and Google Tasks. For now, the rollout only applies to Google AI Ultra subscribers in beta.

With the latest update, Google is making Gemini Spark available on macOS. The tool, which was previously only available on other platforms, can now automate complex tasks on desktop. Examples include sorting PDF files into specific folders or generating budget overviews using local invoices.
Google emphasizes that privacy remains guaranteed: Spark only gains access to files for which users give explicit permission. Furthermore, support for performing tasks remotely will be coming soon, such as requesting reports or sending revenue figures via email, directly from a mobile phone.
The rollout is currently limited to Google AI Ultra subscribers aged eighteen and older in the United States, but further expansion is expected.
Integrations
Google is also expanding the number of apps connected with Spark, including Google Tasks and Google Keep. For instance, Spark can help you scan notes in Keep and then convert them into action items in Tasks. New integrations with Canva, Dropbox, Instacart, OpenTable, and Zillow Rentals are being rolled out this week on web and mobile, with macOS following soon.
Through the Model Context Protocol, users can link Spark directly to their favorite apps for a personalized workflow. Additionally, Spark now offers the ability to follow topics and events in real time. Users automatically receive updates on sports, news, finance, weather, and more, without having to refresh manually every time.
The updates for Gemini Spark are available now. Google plans further expansions of features and integrations in the coming months.
