Anthropic is rolling out its latest AI model Claude 3.5 Haiku to all users.
One of Anthropic’s newest AI models, Claude 3.5 Haiku, is being rolled out to the Claude chatbot on the Internet and via the mobile app for all users, according to several posts on social media. This latest model surpasses other models in terms of intelligence, but it lacks image analysis.
3.5 Haiku generally available
In March, Anthropic announced its Claude 3 family: Sonnet, Opus and Haiku. The latter established the company as excelling in speed and affordability. Recently, the company launched the latest version, Claude 3.5 Haiku. According to Anthropic, 3.5 Haiku can output longer pieces of text than its predecessor 3 Haiku. In addition, the model has an updated knowledge boundary, allowing it to reference more recent events.

What this model cannot do? 3.5 Haiku does not support image analysis, again losing points compared to Anthropic’s other models such as 3 Haiku and 3.5 Sonnet. That higher intelligence also came with a higher price tag last month. In fact, the price for 3.5 Haiku is four times higher than the price of its predecessor 3 Haiku.
