Thanks to digital twins, companies could simulate attacks and better prepare for advanced threats.
Trend Micro has launched a new cyber resilience model, writes SiliconANGLE. The model aims to better protect business environments against advanced threats using digital twins and agent-based AI.
Virtual Test Environment
The model creates a digital copy of both IT and OT environments in real time. Using Nvidia “s GPUs” and AI Enterprise software, companies can simulate threats, test defense measures, and make decisions before an attack occurs.
With digital twins, companies can also mimic attacker behavior, try out new tools, and support investment decisions. For example, they can assess the performance of a security tool or how a critical failure impacts connected systems.
From Reactive to Predictive
Trend Micro states that shifting from periodic checks to continuous, intelligent simulation is a significant step forward. “Reactive risk assessments are no longer sufficient,” says Rachel Jin, Chief Enterprise Platform Officer at Trend Micro. “With this technology, we aim to bridge the gap between digital transformation and defensive readiness.”
