Trend Micro introduces a new security solution for AI systems, in collaboration with Nvidia. This solution runs on Nvidia’s BlueField DPUs.
Trend Micro is partnering with Nvidia for AI system security. Trend Micro will integrate its Trend Vision One solution on
Nvidia’s DPUs are a type of network processors that can handle data-related workloads without burdening a server’s CPU. By implementing security on the BlueField DPU, the solution runs in an efficient location. The result is hardware-accelerated security capable of protecting AI systems without affecting AI infrastructure performance.
The integration of Trend Vision One with BlueField further provides improved isolation and speed of security tasks. According to Trend Micro, this reduces the risk of threats such as prompt injections and jailbreak attempts.
To the Application Layer
Trend Micro extends protection further to the application layer with Trend Vision One AI Application Security (AI Guard), which works with Nvidia NeMo Guardrails. The integration helps AI teams align security measures with business policies and risks, such as data breaches, tool misuse, and hallucinations, from development to runtime.
This new approach strengthens security in three key areas: content moderation, security, and privacy. The solution ensures compliance with regulations such as GDPR and provides zero trust segmentation for optimal data protection.
