Iris AI decides in real-time who gets access, based on behavior and risk.

The American security company Delinea has introduced Iris AI, a built-in feature in its own platform that automatically manages access for employees and systems.

Access without Delay

Iris AI analyzes each access request based on behavior, location, device, permissions, and context, according to SiliconANGLE. If something seems suspicious, the system can block or adjust access without users noticing. This ensures employees only gain access when it’s safe and necessary, maintaining productivity.

According to Delinea, Iris AI is a response to the increasing complexity of hybrid work environments. Traditional security tools can no longer keep up with the speed of new apps, services, and user permissions. Iris AI aims to make that control manageable again.

Risks and Evidence in View

The tool also includes an advanced audit feature. It identifies risky behavior, such as using customized access rights or attempts to delete files. Security teams receive a visual overview of suspicious actions and can quickly intervene.

“Iris AI helps to respond better to threats without manually checking everything,” says Phil Calvin, Chief Product Officer at Delinea. The tool is now available through the Delinea platform.
