Cegeka introduces a cyber resilience dashboard that allows organizations to measure and monitor their cyber resilience at a glance.
Cybersecurity is a strategic theme for many companies, driven by geopolitical tensions and stricter regulations. Yet, it remains difficult for CISOs to concretely demonstrate the state of their organization’s cyber resilience to boards of directors.
Cegeka launched a new dashboard within its Security Advisory Framework during the RSA Conference in San Francisco. The dashboard translates security assessments into clear scores and automatically links results to internationally recognized frameworks, enabling companies to effectively demonstrate their progress.
Objective cyber resilience score
The dashboard bundles the results of various security assessments into a single, clear cyber resilience score. This gives organizations immediate insight into their current state of cyber resilience, including maturity per security domain and progress on their security roadmap. This makes it easier for CISOs to have well-founded discussions with management and justify investments.
A key feature is that results are automatically linked to internationally recognized cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS. This allows companies to objectively benchmark their situation and invest specifically in measures that yield the greatest impact. Relevant cybersecurity regulations are also integrated into the dashboard.
Evolution
The dashboard also allows for tracking evolution over time. “It’s not about a single absolute score. It’s about the progress you make. CISOs must be able to show that they are making the right choices, that their approach is working, and that the organization is becoming more resilient step by step,” says Bart Van den Branden, Head of Product Management Security at Cegeka.
