Telenet increases the internet speeds of its fixed internet subscriptions. The increase applies automatically to both new and existing customers, without price adjustment.
Telenet is implementing an increase in internet speeds for its fixed internet subscriptions. New customers immediately enjoy the new internet speeds, while existing customers will see these gradually increased between now and October 8. Prices remain the same. Earlier this month, Proximus also increased its data volume and browsing speed for mobile subscriptions.
Double Speed for ONE Customers
All customers with a ONE, All-Internet, or WIGO subscription get a download speed of up to 500 Mbps. Upload speed increases to a maximum of 30 Mbps. For ONE customers, this means a doubling of download speed. Those with a 100 percent fiber network also get an upload speed equal to the download speed. This means ONEup customers on fiber will soon be able to upload at up to 1 Gbps.

Telenet is rolling out the adjustment in phases. New customers have enjoyed the higher speeds since September 22. For existing customers, the increase happens gradually between September 22 and October 8. Customers don’t need to do anything.
No Impact on Price or Contract
According to Telenet, prices for the affected subscriptions remain unchanged. The upgrade happens automatically and has no impact on existing contracts. Customers will receive a personal message on October 8 when their speed has been adjusted. From now on, they can check the details per subscription via Telenet’s website. On September 29, the adjusted speeds will be visible on all relevant web pages.
