In addition, the company is introducing the CX 8325H, a compact switch with eighteen ports. The thing is designed for small spaces and can be combined with the ProLiant DL145 Gen11 server for edge computing. The Networking 750 Series wireless access points provide better security and processing of IoT data, with an eye toward AI-based applications in retail stores.
Furthermore, Aruba Networking Central AI Insightsoffers newimprovements in network performance and security. This system can detect failures in Wi-Fi networks outside stores and identify unusual IoT traffic that may indicate security risks.
Management and integration with IoT
IoT devices are a vulnerability in retail networks. Aruba is therefore committed to secure connectivity for devices such as cameras and motion sensors. AI technology helps detect anomalous IoT traffic and address potential security issues at an early stage.
The new networking solutions are available as part of GreenLake and HPE’s broader edge computing portfolio. This makes remote management easier, both in the cloud and on-premises.
In addition, HPE is expanding the Central IoT Operations Dashboard. This platform provides access to IoT solutions from HPE partners, including Hanshow, Simbe, SOLUM, VusionGroup and Zebra Technologies. Their applications range from electronic shelf labels to AI-driven inventory management solutions.
