Zoom launches AI productivity suite with context-rich tasks

Zoom is releasing a new AI productivity suite that transforms conversations into completed tasks. The suite includes Zoom Canvas, Slides, Sheets, and Paper, helping teams create documents, presentations, and reports based on meeting context.

Zoom introduces an AI productivity suite designed to help teams move from conversations to completed tasks without losing context. The suite, powered by Zoom AI, includes Zoom Canvas, Zoom Slides, Zoom Sheets, and Zoom Paper.

According to Russell Dicker, chief product officer at Zoom, the suite understands what was discussed in meetings, chats, and emails, what decisions were made, and what the next steps are. This allows teams to generate context-aware results that remain connected to the original conversations.

Four tools for context-rich collaboration

Zoom Canvas, formerly Zoom Docs, has been expanded into a workspace that connects conversations and execution. Zoom Slides generates presentations directly from meeting content, while Zoom Sheets creates spreadsheets and analyses based on meeting data. Zoom Paper helps create and refine documents with AI support.

The tools are compatible with .docx, .pptx, and .xlsx, allowing teams to work in familiar formats. Furthermore, they can export to Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or PDF for smooth integration into workflows.

Availability and target audience

The AI productivity suite is included with a ZoomMate subscription and is also available as a standalone solution or add-on for 10 dollars per user per month, including AI credits. The suite targets professionals who turn conversations into client deliverables, such as consultants, agencies, and small business teams.
